One of Retrovert’s best features is its well-curated collection. The store offers a wide variety of preloved fashion items, all neatly displayed and meticulously cleaned. 

Customers we interviewed also praised the store’s cleanliness and noted its pleasant, inviting scent, which enhances the shopping experience. Plus, with prices set at 50, 100, 150, and 200 yuan, shoppers can easily find second-hand pieces within their budget. 

We also liked that Retrovert provides two changing rooms, allowing shoppers to try items before purchasing, which is quite rare among consignment stores in Hong Kong. 

For those looking to sell clothes, the store encourages customers to send photos via Instagram for approval. The process is simple and convenient, which definitely won our favor.

However, it’s worth noting that some younger customers, such as middle school students, may find the pricing slightly steep. However, adults agree that the quality justifies the cost.

Additionally, The Redress Closet’s prices are reasonable, striking a good balance between affordability and quality. Shoppers can find great deals without compromising on clothing condition. 

In line with this, the store accepts various payment methods, including PayMe, credit cards, and cash in HKD. As people who love convenience, this earned solid points from us. 

However, while the store excels in many areas, one area of improvement could be the selection of menswear. Though the women’s section is extensive and diverse, the menswear offerings are somewhat limited.

Despite this, The Redress Closet’s overall shopping experience remains stellar. Customers consistently appreciate the helpful staff, making the shopping experience feel personal and pleasant—unlike the pushy atmosphere found in some other stores.

Grannie Kiddie also excels in customer service. The owner goes above and beyond to assist customers, even offering personalized recommendations based on individual preferences and needs.
