What we like most about this shop is its large team of computer technicians, all with internationally recognized professional certificates. Whether it’s repairing physically damaged computers or handling hardware upgrades, their technicians are efficient.

We were also impressed by their ability to troubleshoot software issues and recover data from faulty hard drives and network storage devices.   

Another standout feature is their fast turnaround times. Many of their clients are regulars who swear by their efficiency. Having a big crew of technicians means they can take on multiple jobs at once without long wait times.

That said, their range of services isn’t as diverse as some competitors. We noticed that they mainly specialize in basic computer repairs.

One of the things we like about them is their ability to handle repairs for all laptop brands available in Hong Kong. This means you won’t have difficulty getting repairs for any laptop model. 

This is especially great for those with older computer models, as HK Max stocks a variety of parts and accessories that can be hard to find elsewhere.

Beyond repairs, they also sell and install software, including different Microsoft software systems.

Now, while they’re great at repairs, one upgrade they badly need is a bigger team of technicians. The owner mostly handles in-store repairs, which means he can’t do much onsite work. 

He now employs a small team of technicians, though. This allowed the HK Max to accomplish at-home scheduled appointments.

Computer Life Limited, which is under Zhixin Technology Co., is a solid option for offices and businesses in need of a reliable computer maintenance service.

Their service range is impressive. Aside from basic computer repairs, they offer IT consulting support for SMEs, data recovery services, and retail of major software updates. 

Another thing we liked was their quick response time—at least for queries sent via WhatsApp. Their email response times, though, could be much better.

When it comes to pricing, we can say that they offer a great value for money, especially for business owners. Their previous clients highly recommend their time-based plans and we can see why. 

These plans are packed with useful services like quarterly inspection of computers, unlimited technical and remote support, and free network maintenance—all at an affordable price.

We would just like to note that their branches primarily serve offices and businesses. If you just have one wonky computer, it’s best to check out other repair shops on our list.

iCertified Hong Kong in Mong Kok specializes in servicing Apple and iOS devices. Whether it’s common problems like defective keyboards and trackpads or something more complicated like replacing a base plate or screen, their technicians can handle it.       

Although their rates may seem high, we think their offers are more reasonable if you compare them to the cost of Apple’s out-of-warranty repairs. 

Plus, since they’re an authorized distributor of OWC in the city, you can rest assured that their processor upgrades and Mac-specific SSDs are authentic.    

We also appreciate the 180-day repair warranty they provide. It’s significantly longer than other computer repair shops that typically only offer 3 3-month warranty.

That said, we did take points off for the limited range of brands they service.  

Another downside we see is its short and rather staggered operating hours. It might make it hard for those with busy schedules to come visit.

Thankfully, though, they offer pick-up and delivery services.
