11 Best Chicken Wing Spots in Hong Kong That Are Too Good to Share
Good chicken wings are simple – crispy, juicy, and coated in some of the world’s best sauces. And when it comes to a city like Hong Kong, the list of best places is pretty extensive.
You don’t have to fall for mediocre places, though, as I’ve already gathered a list of the best options. Most of these places are personal favorites (and for good reason), while others I have tabs on for family or group gatherings.
See this list and dive in!
1. Wingman HK

Website: https://wingman.hk/
Address: 6/F, Cheung Hing Commercial Building, 37-43 Cochrane St, Central
Contact Details: +852 9607 5500
Operating Hours: Sunday – Thursday: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM | Friday – Saturday: 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Price: $
For a shop that claims to have “the best wings in HK,” my expectations were naturally high. Fortunately, Wingman met all that! From portions to flavors, the quality of their offerings is quite surprising, considering they’re pretty affordable.
Some of my favorites include the salted egg yolk option, which has a nice saltiness and umami kick to it. But for something with a nice level of spice (that didn’t burn my tongue, thankfully), the honey wasabi was perfect.
Options always start at six pieces per order, and you can mix and match according to your liking (though I didn’t try it, I did hear from the patrons that the ranch dry rub was also good!).
Alternatively, you can get the four-wing lunch set. It comes with a burger, salad, fries, and soda. The burger is juicy, though a bit soggy. For a quick meal, it certainly does the job.
2. Chicken Wings Mountain

Address: Hong Kong, Mong Kok, Nathan Rd, 700號, 700 Nathan Road, G14舖
Contact Details: +852 2310 2055
Operating Hours: Monday – Friday ; Saturday – Sunday: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Price: $$
Just on the food alone, everything at Chicken Wings Mountain is superb. They’re all wingettes, so it’s easy to chow down every piece and really enjoy the coated flavors on each one.
If I have to recommend a menu item, it’s the honey flavor (don’t get me wrong; everything is good, but this is just a fave). The honey glaze makes it sweet and savory. With the tender meat, it feels like the sauce is bursting in your mouth.
Just take note that when you come here, though, you might be better off taking out your order (there’s a sitting area but it’s meh – seats are uncomfortable and the floor has seen better days).
Plus, they’re a bit more expensive than other joints, although there are occasional discount deals for big orders.
3. Wings

Address: 29/F The Wellington, 198 Wellington St, Central
Contact Details: +852 2711 0063
Operating Hours: Monday – Thursday; Saturday: 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM | Friday: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM

If your idea of enjoying chicken wings involves a top-class restaurant for the entire family, Wings should be a go-to. It’s a modern Chinese restaurant with a traditional take on cuisine, so the sit-down, quiet setting is a must.
Their signature chicken is one for the books. They use a dry-aging technique (common in the West, not much here in HK), allowing the moisture to evaporate from the meat. So when you order this, you get to enjoy that concentrated sweetness with a whiff of applewood.
4. Tai Ping Koon

Address: 29/F The Wellington, 198 Wellington St, Central, Hong Kong
Contact Details: +852 2711 0063
Operating Hours: Sunday: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM | Monday – Saturday: 11:30 AM – 11:30 PM
Price: $
Tai Ping Koon has been around in Hong Kong for over a century! So, if you want to try chicken wings but also make sure you’re tasting a bit of history, you need to bookmark this place.
Their best offer here is their signature Taipingguan Swiss chicken wings, which come in six pieces. The meat is tender as you can imagine, with the bones almost slipping off the moment they’re served.
The Swiss sauce alone is delicious – it has that distinct sweetness of rock sugar that balances perfectly well with the soy sauce. There are times that it may taste a bit bitter towards the end, but it’s nothing off-putting.
This restaurant has multiple locations – you can check them out in Causeway Bay, Tsim, and Central, just to name a few.
5. Burger Joys

Address: Shop E, G/F, De Fenwick, 42-50 Lockhart Rd, Wan Chai
Contact Details: +852 6373 6668
Operating Hours: Monday – Friday; Saturday – Sunday: 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM, 11:00 AM – 12:00 AM
Price: $
I loooove Burger Joys, especially if I know I’m eating out with friends! It just has this laid-back, casual vibe within a bar setup. You can comfortably sit on the high platforms and chat with your buddies as you enjoy your chicken wings.
My favorite has to be that garlic Thai sauce flavor. The Thai sauce really brings out the umami, and since it’s combined with minced garlic, the flavors are fully elevated. The outside skin is super crispy too, even if you leave it out for an entire hour.
If you want to enjoy a honey-like flavor with a sweet and sour sauce, go for the garlic chicken wings. The garlic aroma may be a little too punchy for some, but you’re seriously missing out if you won’t try it!
6. Southside Lantau

Address: G/F, Shop 1A, Lantau Island, Silver Centre Building, 10 Mui Wo Ferry Pier Rd, Mui Wo
Contact Details: +852 9627 2441
Operating Hours: Tuesday – Friday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Saturday – Sunday: 11:30 AM – 9:00 PM
Price: $
Southside Lantau is pretty famous for its setting, giving off family meal vibes that make eating feel more casual. Beyond chicken wings, they carry a lot of food options too including burgers and craft beers (mostly Southern food).
For the wings, they keep it simple. The rubs and sauces are already added to the wings so it may feel like you’re not drowning in dipping sauce. On the good side, you can get to focus more on the flavors and the aroma.
Despite looking a bit dry (sorry!), they’re surprisingly tender and juicy.
If you have dietary restrictions, though, make sure to tell them. They offer vegetarian and vegan-friendly meals as well, which is quite rare in Mui Wo.
7. Sekai No Yamachan Japan Restaurant

Contact Details: +852 2723 9038
Operating Hours:
- Sunday: 3:00 PM – 10:15 PM
- Monday: 1:00 PM – 11:15 PM
- Tuesday – Friday: 5:00 PM – 11:15 PM

If you’ve been to Japan before, you might have seen Sekai No Yamachan – after all, it’s a pretty famous Japanese chain restaurant over there! Now, with locations in Hong Kong, there’s no excuse not to try their wings.
The fried chicken wings here are no different from the ones you’ll taste in Nagoya or Hong Kong. They’re salty (which seems to be their signature taste), so it’s better if you can share an order with a company. It’s even better if you order cold beer with it!
Other flavors include their delicious garlic wings that has the perfect kick to it without an overpowering smell. The black chicken wings have an interesting profile which may not be for everyone, though I did love the kick of soy they had.
8. Kona

Address: 16 Lin Fa Kung St W, Tai Hang
Contact Details: +852 2881 6339
Operating Hours:
- Monday – Friday: 6:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Saturday – Sunday: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM ; 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Price: $$
Kona gives an entirely new experience to enjoying chicken wings. Unlike most spots, they actually debone their chickens. They then deep-fry each one before tossing them to the grill for further cooking.
The results are always the same – tasty wings with impressive crispiness! They have a nice golden brown shine to them, and to keep it simple, all they add is some salt and pepper for that perfect bite.
To further enjoy your meal, don’t be afraid to ask for wine and sake recommendations. And if it helps, don’t just settle for the bar – instead, book in advance for a table so you and your company can also check out other dishes.
9. Farm House Restaurant

Address: China Taiping Tower, 8號 Sunning Rd, Causeway Bay
Contact Details: +852 2881 1331
Operating Hours: Monday – Friday; Saturday – Sunday: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM | 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Farm House Restaurant isn’t the first thing in everyone’s minds when it comes to wings, but they actually have some good offerings on the table. They keep things simple – their wings having the perfect crispiness without much sauces or dippings.
To complete your meal, you definitely need to get their sticky rich as well. The rice will balance the saltiness from the wings, and the texture is just enough to keep you full.
There’s also the Fujian fried rice to match your wings, which will taste better with a side of veggies for a full meal. Orders are affordable, so you can come here as a big group and enjoy a big feast.
10. Chom Chom

Website: https://www.chomchom.com.hk/
Address: 58 Peel St, Central
Contact Details: +852 2810 0850
Operating Hours:
- Sunday: 5:10 AM – 11:45 PM
- Monday – Thursday: 6:10 PM – 10:45 PM
- Friday – Saturday: 5:00 PM – 11:45 PM
Price: $$
Chom Chom is HK’s paradise when it comes to fried food and some really good Vietnamese classics. Seasoning here is kept in balance, so the taste is nicely concentrated without being too salty.
It may be the texture of the wings that wins you over, though – it’s crispy and juicy and can be easily paired with white rice or a salad. The meat is tender, so you can easily chew the chicken off the bone. It may feel a bit dry, so you can dip the wings in soy sauce.
The food’s a bit expensive, though – expect to pay $200 per person here. But if you’re a small group and get at least 4 dishes, then you may get more out of your money!
11. Fini’s

Website: https://finishk.com/
Address: 69 Stone Nullah Ln, Wan Chai
Contact Details: +852 9147 1834
Operating Hours: Monday – Sunday: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Price: $
Fini’s is actually a favorite spot for pizza lovers in Hong Kong, but it also has some nice chicken wings. Their hot wings are some of the best in the city, as they have just the right amount of spice that doesn’t overpower the seasonings used in the chicken.
There are times when they offer discounts too, such as unlimited wings and beer for only $108. Deals change from time to time, so it’s best to stay updated on their page for more information.
