We find Complete Deelite to be a solid choice for those who want a more interactive approach to kids’ parties. This is because they combine two things that kids love – sweets and the chance to create something with their own hands.

They offer a wide range of baking workshops. Kids can enjoy everything, from cupcake decorating to full cookie baking.

What we really love, though, is their wide variety of party options. They offer themed workshops of various sizes, including the venue, professional guidance, and baking materials. 

Each session lasts 1.5 to 2 hours, which we consider to be the sweet spot for a kids’ party package.

The cost per package is just right as well, ranging from $3,300 to $3,900. Considering the inclusions, we find this to be a good value for money.

However, one downside is that their website makes it hard to book a schedule, with clients often saying their bookings don’t go through. The process could use some improvements to make the experience much more seamless.

Acorn Playhouse is a top contender for families who want to go all out on a big party. Their space alone is one of the best in the city, spanning 8,000 sq. ft.

Apart from the size, what we found best is the place’s versatility, particularly when it comes to imaginative play. Kids can come and enjoy the Dress-up and Pretend Play area or burn energies at the climbing and sliding structures.

What sets them apart from other venues is that they have three dynamic studios designed to enhance creativity. There’s a culinary studio for pizza-making and baking; sensory studio for tactile zones and water play; and the dance studio is perfect for music and movement.

We also find their full-service package really helpful for busy parents. The inclusions – venue decorations, teacher-led activities, and refreshment catering – make the planning process more seamless for parents. Families also get exclusive access to the entire venue.

Additionally, we really loved the co-working space they offer to parents. We think it’s a thoughtful touch for those who want to catch up on work while their kids are having fun.

Just take note that kids aged older than 6 years may find the activities less engaging. For everything else though, they ticked every point in the checklist.

Large and clean playhouse
“This is the largest and cleanest playhouse I’ve been to. Price is also very reasonable, and they offer Nodi coffee (best coffee in HK IMO). Lots of resources, books, activities, role playing centres (incl kitchens, bakery, large mirrors, etc..), even costumes! What attracted us to Ryze is its venue, which is ideal for parties designed to burn kids’ energy. This trampoline park is a good destination for energetic children. It features obstacle courses, trapeze, slackline, and foam pits.

Though they only offer two packages, the inclusions are sufficient. They include one hour of jump time followed by one hour of exclusive party table use. There’s also a special gift for the birthday celebrant.

The setup makes it stress-free for parents too – essentials such as plates and utensils are already included. We also appreciate that there’s a dedicated party hostess assigned to help with setup and cleanup.

The place and package are ideal for small groups of up to 15 guests. They’re also not too expensive, considering the rates range from $2,700 to $4,300, depending on the number of guests and the scheduled day. 

Additionally, we appreciate that they offer exclusive arena rentals for a fully private experience. This can be ideal for families that want to stay longer beyond what’s included in the package.

However, these are not available on Fridays, weekends, summers, or holidays. This may be a downside for those planning a private event during peak periods.

“This is a terrific place for children to spend hours of fun. Besides the trampolines, they have a variety of other activities as well, there are 2 separate floors with different settings, so make sure you go to both when you visit. EpicLand is best known in Discovery Bay as one of the most famous indoor adventure parks in Hong Kong. With multiple floors covering various activities, we find it a solid choice for big parties, especially for kids aged 4 and above.

Now, for parties, the place offers various packages. There are even adult parties for parents who also want to enjoy themselves while their kids are having fun.

What’s great is that the packages are based on the activities – for example, there are themed experiences that include slime parties, nerf battles, and glow disco.

Each package includes two hours of party room access. For active play options like laser tag, children get exclusive use of battle arenas.

What won our hearts even more is that the activities are not only reasonable but also the most affordable on the list, ranging from $350 to $390. However, these packages are for the activities only and don’t include food or event coordination per se.

Just take note that while children have a big place to run, there is limited seating for parents. You’ll have to bring a bit of patience and endurance with you in case the space gets too uncomfortable.

It only took us one visit to Jello and Mellow to decide that it’s one of the most aesthetically pleasing party venues in Hong Kong. Designed with Nordic minimalist decor, the venue offers an upscale atmosphere with their neutral furniture and soft lighting. 

For families who want a stress-free experience, we find their all-in-one party service to be a comprehensive choice. This package already includes food, decorations, and the venue space rental. It even comes with a custom cake!

When it comes to activities, the place is equipped with enough play areas: there are slides and ball pits that are kept clean throughout the day.

What’s even nicer is that many additional services are available. These include face painting activities, magicians, and themed backdrops customized for the party motif.

As for the food and beverage service, parents we interviewed loved the curated menu. They really appreciated that the staff took their orders for hot drinks, which made them feel equally accommodated.

Speaking of parents, we find it helpful that the venue has a private space for breastfeeding and diaper changing. This is a nice touch for those carrying infants to the party.

The only major downside we saw was that staff service was pretty inconsistent, with clients noting inattentive service during the event. Additionally, their pricing can be on the higher side, especially for smaller gatherings.

Efficiency of service
“We just had our daughter’s birthday party at Jello & Mellow and everyone had a blast! We reserved half of the venue, and the J&M team helped with all the food & beverage and came up with a really cute customized cake.
